The investigation into David Sequeira, 24, of 38 Benedict St., began in December 2018, after the Norwalk Police Department's Special Services Division received information that he was selling large quantities of marijuana around the city of Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
Special Services Officers initiated an investigation during which they made multiple purchases of marijuana from Sequeira, Blake said.
As a result of their lengthy investigation, three arrest warrants were secured as well as a search warrant for Sequeira’s residence.
On Thursday, March 7, Sequeira was arrested by Special Services officers during a traffic stop on Wall Street. Officers then executed the search warrant at his home where they seized 120 grams of marijuana, $1,300 in cash, 13 THC vaping cartridges, a .38 caliber Charter 2000 handgun, various drug paraphernalia, and packaging material, Blake said.
Sequeira was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
He is currently being held on $315,000 bond.
